Money created via Debt
Competitive Currency Devaluation: a method in which grants the US ( Federal Reserve) the divine power to print infinite amount of money at will to finance its budget deficits and conduct lavish economic bailouts without worrying about currency devaluation, thus giving the Fed every reason to print money at no cost while driving the nation into perpetual debt. Money created via Debt = a legalized ponzi scheme.

Second is a charm
"Everything is a fresh start, I love to do every project that I've ever looked at and have a second bite at it because you could always go one step further. And if you cant go one step further, then it means you haven't learned what you done before, and you are not sharp, then its time to stop and do something else."

Now I Understand
Joanna Wang:
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy linen land
Now I understand what you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you, Vincent
This world was never meant
For one as beautiful as you

History of Comupter, tribute to the centennial birth of Alan Turing
Originally invented to decode enemy telegraph during WW1 and 2, the arthmetic machine later became a complex machinry capable of handling laborious commericial operations during post war. The invention of integrated circuit in the 80s made of silicon chips ultimately shrank its overal size down to a single chip, allowing computers to be made small enough to be handled by single individual - and thus Personal Computers are born.

What I Regret
I'm more likely to regret purchasing things, and regret not purchasing experiences.
I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

Life Work
Encouraging words from Michael Rotondi's Summer Studio, entitled Life Work:
"Now is a time of faith and fear.
The world you are about to inherit is not the one you had envisioned.
The conflict of generations is upon you, and you are ready.
Things have changed more than you could have imagined and you now have to find comfort in uncertainty.
"Now is a time of faith and fear.
The world you are about to inherit is not the one you had envisioned.
The conflict of generations is upon you, and you are ready.
Things have changed more than you could have imagined and you now have to find comfort in uncertainty.
No problem you are still young enough to consider uncertainty a friend.
Life has become a real adventure again and now,
you have the opportunity to invent your own life.
There are none to inherit.
So [You] this studio will attempt to answer the questions:
“is it possible to invent a project, a life, and a society?”
“is it possible to be a leader without any followers?”
“is it possible to have a long term vision in a short cycle world?”
“is it possible to do good and do well, simultaneously?”
“is it possible to find an architectural equivalent?” "

Dedication
"When I was talking about providing an alternative way of making architecture, I want to address that to the students. What it means is that you don't have to be a slave in a corporate office, a groupie of a celebrity architect because all you need is a piece of paper, a pencil, and the desire to make architecture."

Something ought to be more significant
"For years I was tormented by guilt at having left the country for which I'd fought. I left my friends—some were in prison, others were dead, some managed to escape. I felt I was in debt to them and that I had to repay that debt. And I felt I had a mission. I had to do something important to regain the right to live. It wasn't just a question of music—it was something much more significant." - Iannis Xenakis, composer

Lucid, Splippery Nuance of Sensational Physicality
"I think that art and architecture is an epiphenomenon. And what I mean by that is that it’s really what the name we give to the aesthetic experience you have in built form. It’s not a thing. It’s the assemblage or the experience. And that varies for different people. If that’s right, then the way you trigger that experience in people should be able to happen in many different ways. So the stories are based upon activating a bunch of different sense modalities and situations that create the possibility of having that kind of experience." - Coy Howard

No Choice but to Believe
"The first step before everybody else believes you is that you have to believe it. There is no reason to have plan B because it distracts from plan A." - Will Smith, Actor
"He who says he can, and he who says he can't - are both usually right." - Confucious.
The only way for you to move forward is to burn all bridges behind you.
